I'm up, I'm up after a horrible night of no sleep - maybe, MAYBE I got four hours somewhere - but I had a terrible allergy attack and the Claritin didn't work, which is unusual, so I finally at four-thirty took some Ny-Quil and Afrin, but my nose kept running and I just could not sleep.  The phone rang at 6:45, some 800 number thing, so I will track down that company because they are NOT allowed to call before seven in the morning.

From DR TCB:
Quote
I think that Washington should have year-round Daylight Savings Time

I agree, however, you know it will be the other way around.

Two time zones for the entire country is interesting.  Would that be 2 or 3 hours between them?  I'm not sure that would work for those living in the time zones that were changed.

There would only be one hour between the two.  This is the article that I read:

http://qz.com/142199/the-us-needs-to-retire-daylight-savings-and-just-have-two-time-zones-one-hour-apart/

This article also suggests two time zones, but two hours apart:

I recently sent a letter to the artistic director of the company in which I am the "resident" musical director resigning my title.  These young, childish people feel the best way to run a company is hire their friends to work for them, choose new and "edgy" plays/musicals (and get their friends to be cast in them) and brush aside those who have been loyal to them for 20 years.

Just sayin'...

Sorry you felt the need to leave.

DR MATTHEW that is terrible, but it is a familiar story.

I am sure there is another group that would welcome your talents.

Things I haven't noticed....

I watched SWEET SMELL OF SUCCESS yesterday, and JJ's apartment address is given as 1619 Broadway.....which turns out to be The Brill Building.  Who knew?

It's too bad that it came to that, Matthew.

The Cloverdale Clovers.....won their sectional and will be part of the Sweet 16 in the regionals in Class AA Basketball this Saturday.

It doesn't mean much to anyone outside of Indiana.....and it's not like it was when all schools competed against all schools without regard for enrollment....but it's still exciting.

Cloverdale in the 50's and 60's was almost always in the Sweet Sixteen teams in the state to compete.....they will be playing an Indianapolis High School, Crispus Attucks, which has won its regional many years in a row.

So.....good luck to the Clovers - a little town where my cousins live.

Good afternoon, all.

My alarm didn't work this morning, and I didn't wake until 9 a.m. Been running behind all day. I blame it on the constant rain and the time change. (After all, someone or something else has to be at fault, right?)

That tax return cannot arrive soon enough! Today all of my emails in my Inbox from Nov. 2011 to today mysteriously vanished. God knows where they went.
