I am home from the sitzprobe. It's going to be a good production. I really liked meeting Keith Carradine, who will be wonderful, I think. I've been a fan since seeing NASHVILLE, which remains my favorite film of the 1970s. The cast is good, and the men's chorus quite wonderful. Two of my ROBERTA Collegians are in the ensemble, and Bill Youmans, who was the bigoted sheriff in the 2010 revival of FINIAN'S RAINBOW, plays the Mormon who sells one of his wives.
Thank you for the vibes. It will be a tough weekend. I have $9.00 to live on until Wednesday's social security arrives.
