Well, we have our first review of "Laughing Stock":

Interesting review, George.

Yes, Tom, I also think it's interesting...overall it's a good review, but interesting.

DR George's dessert also sounds delicious.

I'm sure that my mom thanks you, Jane!

I have not been adding new books to my library queue since I don't know if I will be switching libraries or not.  DR George, if I move away from Ashland do you know if my library will know?

Probably only if you notify them.

I shall shortly be on my way to lunch with Tammy Minoff, who I really haven't seen in nine years.

Have a good lunch, BK!

Well don't you have to renew your library card every year?  That is when if you move they will know that you know longer have a card.

Finally got my act together and went to visit Mom late this afternoon.  She's about the same, so the visit was depressing as ever, but on my drive I saw lots of spring blooms - daffodils, jonquils, forsythia, hyacinths.  Even in the rain and Richard's car, it was a nice drive.

Sorry to hear about Julie Wilson, but I've enjoyed reading the stories from BK and DR Elmore.  Her passing reminded me of this book:

I didn't know William Roy, but I thought he was a wonderful pianist - I discovered him from the Julius Monk revues.

I read that Julie Wilson was very supportive of other singers and attended countless cabaret performances.  I do remember that she was at both of Brent B's performances at Birdland when he launched his "Christmas Mornings" CD.

Speaking of Easter cards,  I received one it today's mail.  Only problem--nothing written inside the card.  No postmark since it was a Hallmark card with prepaid postage.  No return address.  I thought it was my friend Mike's writing.  I texted him. He said that he hadn't sent it.  I talked to him later and he remembered that he had.

Probably only if you notify them.

That is what I am hoping for.  Imagine if I had 4 library accounts to work from ;)

What I am concerned about is having the account shut down while I'm in the middle of reading a book.
