I was thinking the same thing DR RLP......in journalism class we learned to bracket [spelling correct] after anything that might be questioned in a story.....but I stopped doing it when one of my stories included the following sentence:

Ric Spelling Correct McFadden is playing King Arthur.

They are saying we may have some severe thunderstorms after 9 p.m. tonight.

And tonight is Troy Donahue night on TCM....starting with MY BLOOD RUNS COLD, which I haven't seen for many years......

Last night was Anthony Quinn night on TCM.  From Anthony Quinn to Troy Donahue in one fell swoop.

That's TV!

Was it really a surprise that Barry Manilow got married to a man? I'm seeing so many book of face posts from female friends who are shocked and saddened because they had a childhood crush on him.

Hello?

I know!  What's the big deal?  Congrats on his marriage!

Thanks for all the toe vibes.  Leah, the NP, thinks it's broken, but sent me for an X-ray just to be sure.  Waiting for a call from her.

Mine might be broken but an X-ray was not ordered.

Elmore -- or La Moo -- just heard "I Get Carried Away" from the new On the Town and couldn't agree with you more. That actress is irritating.

But glad you enjoyed the rest of the show.

What's this "La Moo" nomenclature?  Have I missed something?

I went for a nice hike today. I have no idea how far, but my fitbit says 26,000 or so steps.

DR Jennifer that number was just what is on the current list of lendable books.  Yes, there are plenty more.  I only looked at the list because of the conversation.  I don't use is as a buying guide.

I still don't understand. What do you mean "the current list of lendable books"?  There are tons of e-books that are always loanable.

If anyone here watches Jeopardy, my boss was on today and he won!

Chris Hurt, actor and Grants Analyst won $30,000 and he'll be back tomorrow (and possibly more days, he won't say how long his winning streak was, they have very strict rules about how much you can say until your show airs).

This will be a long water cooler chat tomorrow when he gets in.

Which reminds me, I guess I'll miss the cherry blossoms again this year.  I'm traveling the next two weekends and I'm not ambitious enough to go during the week after work.
