Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

Nudie also previewed with Love and Death at the Regent - one of the great nights of my life, actually.

Damn it to HELL!      :)

That must have been incredible.

Lol on the mace/make.  I am using my Nook.

My "flog" , "pic" and "alters" were Ipad autocorrects  I was going to fix them but changed my mind when I saw the joy they brought to Jeanne

Out of the blue, I got a phone call from the very funny, very wonderful Karla Burns.  I haven't seen her since the Chicago Humanities Festival around 2005.

Can I. Like this post?  ;)

It's now act two and I have a big chunk of the show where I'm off stage.  We have a filled house and a GREAT crowd!  They are loving everything! :D

Fantastic!

I'm back, by the way, from playing the two songs at the fundraiser in the winery, where I afterwards enjoyed a remarkably good glass of local red wine, a few artisanal cheeses, and met Mother Dolores Hart who was "the other act" today.  She participated in a reading from "The Trip to Bountiful" which that same theater is presenting this summer prior to "Man of La Mancha".  (The theater is on the grounds of the Abbey of Regina Laudis, where she resides).  She was pretty damned good.

Had a chili, cheese and onion omelet and a bagel and did some work on the master ALS script, which I'll try to finish this evening.

I believe I talk about previewing with Love and Death at the Regent in the first memoir and go into detail about why it was such an incredible night.

How did the Olive Garden feel about your relatives bringing in their own primavera sauce?       ;)

It's quite the trend now, I hear. You know, with all the food allergies and dietary preferences. You bring your own sauce, or other component, and the kitchen accommodates you. You must pay a corkage fee, of course, but they call it something else.  ;)

I wonder if Jane and Keith have made an offer (I think yes) and if it's been accepted.

House vibes for Jane and Keith.

Thank you, Vixmom. I suspected they were autocorrects, but one wonders how it could go so far off the mark.

I remember a lot in general, but there are a thousand events and instances such as this that are going to be so much more delicious and meaningful on a reread.

Well, you've read the notes, the notes spoke of Frogger, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they're currently playing Frogger and wondering why there is no game called Cowgger.

Because when a car hits a cow, the car gets smushed as much as the cow

I did become quite addicted to pacman. At the local bar where my friends  and I would occasionally congregate  they had a pacman video table the beers were a quarter and so were the games. For $5 -$10 you could have a fine night out

I used to mace cool birthday cakes for the boys.  The eadiest one I made was Pacman for Bryan.  I made his favorite cake which was cheesecake, cut out the mouth and added eyes.

You maced cake and they lived?

For all I know, I was in Westwood that very night doing God knows what.

Hey.  Is the actual date in the memoirs?  I just wonder if it would be even remotely possible to figure out what I was doing then.

I'm serious.
