Really tired but I think I'm going to at least write some of the commentary right about now.

It was like when Amanda had so many gentleman callers one afternoon that they had to send the boy over to the funeral home to get some extra chairs.....

DR Dan M, I'm not sure why it matters that NN isn't the lease holder. The lease holder is responsible. Could the lease holder be someone influential who the management doesn't wish to tangle with or embarrass?

I don't know of anyone at my local police station, but if I did I would talk to them. They'd probably just say, "Call us when they're too noisy." I don't like to bother the police with these sorts of issues, but it does move it up a notch and tends to get people's attention.

I am feeling much better today DR JEANNE.  I just can't stand for any length of time.....but perhaps my BE ACTIVE will help that.....and the therapist said the muscle tears would heal in a few weeks.....

Thanks DR JANE and DR JEANNE.....I should have it by Wednesday, so we shall see.

I have been working on some sound effects for the September show so the director doesn't have to worry about them.  He doesn't have to use them, but if he needs them or runs out of time....he'll have them.

Oh my DR DAN M.....Michael Lindsey-Hogg is even more so!

Yes! We know of two "projects" that Maestro Orson "finished" albeit unofficially. I say that with tongue-in-cheek, yet with all respect and admiration for one of my cinematic heroes. 8)

Glad to hear you're feeling better.

I've been experimenting with using magnesium gel directly on tight muscles and it's really helped. It takes a few applications--not just one--but the tight muscles in my legs responded very well. I use Essence of Life magnesium gel from Amazon. It might help with the tears.

I don't think so. Well, I have noticed that the upstairs neighbor will act like a dog with his tail between his legs after the front office speaks with him, even after his claims lies that they didn't do anything wrong.

The last time I called the sheriff (the police don't cover this area as it is unincorporated), after the sheriff left, someone of his retinue acted like a spoiled brat and started dropping heavy items on the floor at 3:30-4 a.m. and slamming things and walking around like an elephant. Which of course all is childish behavior. I then wrote everything down and emailed to the management company. The front office spoke with them, and they've been sorta-okay ever since. This past weekend they really played it close to the line, but I wrote the front office about them anyway. They've been a lot quieter for now.

My concern now is that college is over with for the semester. Would it that they move out soon! What was strange about two days ago the old tenant who lived in that apartment was walking around the building. I'm wondering if he's thinking about coming back here. He was a great tenant. For most of the week he was working somewhere else. Must have been a good position because he always had a chauffeur pick up on Mon or Tues, and then return Thurs or Fri. When he was here during the week, his kids would visit and even they were no problem despite being teenagers.

BK, I'm happy to hear the attendees appreciated the chapter about the Strip and Westwood.  And, of course, that it was a great turnout.

Back from wedding and reception!

It's time now to ketchup and relax and prepare to rise and shine at dawn's crack so that I might utilize the right twelve hours getting back home.  (As opposed to the wrong twelve.  I do want to get back at a decent hour.)

DR Jeanne - I am so sorry about that situation with your horrible neighbor.

I know that YOU shouldn't have to do anything, but have you tried sleeping with earplugs and/or a white noise generator?

Yes, I tried earplugs but am a side-sleeper and am just not comfortable with them. I purchased a white-noise machine with nature sounds. I used it last night. It drowns out some noises, but it's not enough to drown out theirs.

I am obsessed with my white noise machine (that just has white noise). It actually helps me fall asleep and I use it every night, even when it is totally quiet.

Great to hear that the book signing/reading went well, the wedding/reception went well, the Donald meeting went well, and vibes to everyone!

Hope that DR Michael is recovering well, that DR Jrand64 will feel better, and that DR TCB will feel happier!

BK's book signings in NYC are also always quite wonderful events.  I've gotten to go to two of them, one at the old Partners & Crime book store downtown, and one at the Drama Book Shop.

I was watching Orson Welles' Scottish Play movie last night, and it reminded me of a rumor I read on the internet.....

Yes, I've read that and also his other possible out-of-wedlock son, Michael Lindsay-Hogg. Don't know if it's true, but look at the photos. Striking similarities. Oh, that Orson!

Does anyone want to say what the rumor is that they are talking about.  I only knew one of Welles children, and that was Rebecca.

Ol' Orson was sowing wild oats while he was married to other women. There are many sources that claim he had dalliances with some well-known actresses, but we'll never know for sure I guess.

I always think of John Frankenheimer who had been rumored to be Michael Bay's father, but this was only confirmed once Frankenheimer died. Who knows? In any event, the photos are way too similar, but that can be an artifact of lighting, pose, angle, etc. Of course, who doesn't like gossip? At the very least, that's what it is. And dish we shall. Allegedly. So-called and unsubstantiated.
