Well, you've read the notes, the notes spoke of food, glorious food and other things, and now it is time for you to post until the glorious cows come home.

And that our ailing DRs seem to be improving somewhat.

This week's been a little busier than usual for this time of year at the tax office.  A financial form that the government only asks for every five years (about foreign operations, if anyone cares about the subject :) )  is due end of this week, so we've been busy either getting the form out or getting requests for extensions in.

In Zumba news,

A report that a New York Police Dept head had spent $60,000 to create a zumba studio for the police.

Good morning, all.

I have to call my heating/cooling people out again, because even though everything is running perfectly since the annual tune-up, you could hang a few sides of beef on the first floor.  It's cooling way too unevenly, so some adjustment on something or other needs to be made.  We've been through this before, and they'll figure it out.

Coffee!    Oh. Here it is.

Had some kind of a musical/keyboard dream, but beyond a couple of abstractions that kept repeating themselves, there seems to be nothing to recall.

Good morning, all!  I stayed up too late watching the first DVD of season 1 of "Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries."  I really love them.  I caught several of them on and off on PBS, but now i'm going to watch them all.

First thing this morning, I have a trip to the post office to return an error to Amazon. Then, i'm back to the carton search. Tomorrow, a trip to Toyland and then PAINT YOUR WAGON on Friday.

Good morning, all.

Glad you're back on solid eating ground, BK. and, yes, that video from Grand Hotel is the best pick-me-up going.

Wednesday morning greetings!  I'll be E & T today because I'm going to the University of Dayton to visit a friend who's working there after retiring from the public library.  We haven't seen each other, except at another former co-worker's funeral last July, for a year and a half.  Lots to catch up on!

BK, I'm so glad you're feeling better.  Sounds like you've had something similar to what I had over Valentine's Day weekend.  Took me 5 days to get over the nausea and feel like eating.

I have been to the post office, used my replacement debit card, had some breakfast, and i think i am ready to face the day.

Mercer Health & Life Insurance. whose life insurance policy I absent-mindedly allowed to lapse in Jan., has given me the runaround since i discovered this mess in Feb.  Yesterday, after telling me two weeks ago that they had not received my application of March, although I had a priority mail tracer confirming it had been delivered, they tld me they couldn't accept my application since I was over 60.

I just mailed them a thank you and screw you letter telling them that I was 40 when I'd joined the Local 802 group policy and, if the asses were not going to help me correct my error, then I wanted a refund of the money I'd paid them for the past 25+ years.  I hate these shits. The worst part of this was their continual forcing me to jump through their hoops.

I'll see if I can get AARP life insurance now.  Until my idiot brothers sell that Ohio property, I cannot afford to die with no life insurance.

Larry, look for those commercials on television for people between the ages of 45 and 85 for life insurance, including AARP.

The prevailing feeling is, if you're over 60 could you just please die and leave room for the rest of the people.

I have already been there, DR Ben!  AARP is sending me information.  What pisses me off is that those Mercer creeps have been happily taking my money for years and then - even though it was my error - say fuck off to me.
