What is WITH this week?  Nothing but WUSSBURGERS in the evenings.  Skammen, I say, and say again.

Still under the weather.

But did not want you to miss out on the Allison Hayes picture of the week:

The original VHS release of her most famous role:

WeLL MRBK - I finally located my partial tape of tv's VALLEY OF THE DOLLS.  It is only the last 90 minutes so you miss all of Jean Simmons as Helen Lawson and MOST of Bert Convy as Tony Polar.

But if you want to see the last 90 minutes - I can make you a copy.

Perhaps I won't post them tonight, just to be in the spirit of the WUSSBURGERS.

Our houseguest, Zeus, has decided that my bed is his bed.

It would be a lot easier, of course, if he would only take up, say, half of the bed.

Or, say, if the half of the bed he is taking up weren't the middle half, with a quarter on one side and a quarter on the other.

Some houseguests, I guess, just don't know how to be good houseguests.

*sigh*

If you want a "This morning I went for a walk" photo, I must get some sleep tonight so I can get up early in the morning.

DRJANE - the joke is that Hermes who taught Ginger dances for all those years with Fred - a pulled most of his hair out doing it.....and then there's Gower trying to teach her the DOLLY choreography and thinking it would be easy.....or something like that.

For anyone who's interested, there will be a special about wine on the Food Network this upcoming Sunday.

Yeah, yeah, big deal.

Only this one is being hosted by John Cleese.

There is no advance word yet on whether he'll cover how to serve wine to a Black Knight who has lost all of his limbs.  (That's a Holy Grail reference.)

SWoody, as someone who has fostered animals for shelters over the years, it is certain that you will keep one or two of your fosters that are not really adoptable.

Hopefully, der B and I will soon have a report about a new restaurant that just opened a few miles north of us.

It's a Japanese restaurant, called Tokyo.  All we know is that it took quite a while for the building it is in to be built, and that they'll be specializing in teppan and sushi.

Hey, for some people this stuff is cutting edge.

 :-\

(When I crave sushi, I think I'd rather head to a place downtown called Abstractions.  Even der B likes it.)
