A TONI PERMANENT WITH HIDDEN BODY

Well, you've read the notes, the notes were bouffant, thanks to a Toni permanent with hidden body, and now it is time for you to post until the bouffant cows come home.

Good morning, all! I must be at Toyland this morning to accomplish a few things for myself:
   1.  Pack up a few more items
   2.  Desktop backups
   3.  Show the binder and printer to Chelsea Music

Once I have burned the desktop files to disc, I will sign off for good from Toyland, trash my desktop and bookmarks, and take my iMac apart.  I'm keeping the keyboard, and tomorrow Peter will take the computer home.  I will miss it, but it's too huge for my apartment, and it will be getting a good home.

Yes DR FJL it is the Broadway version by Howland and Dickstein that we are considering for our 2016 season.

I really HATE HATE HATE that when you open a show page at MTI, the music starts blasting out at you!

It's very annoying.

I am up way too early since the AC has conked out. I noticed the temperature was getting warm around 4 a.m. We just had our second day of 100 degree weather, so in a way it's not that much of a surprise. But when I keep my apartment at 74-75 and now its 78 and climbing, it's not great.

I hate that, too, DR Jrand64, on any site.  Forced audio is an assault.

Sure, you can click it off -- but you will have the pleasure of doing so on every page load!

I've got some Aunt Jemima frozen waffles and (real) butter and (real) maple syrup to use up.  These are left over from an unexpected but thoroughly delicious and satisfying CRAVING and BINGE the other day.  Oh my, it was good.  Well, here goes.  And then I shall eat a little more sensibly for a while.

Coffee!

Providing the discs are delivered in time for it to happen today, I'll be E&T this evening, driving a few towns over to watch the new 1776 Blu-ray on my friend's projection system.

A beautiful morning in the neighbourhood means beautiful weather, the leafs on the trees, not a cloud in the sky, and certainly no snow on the ground. The hummingbirds, playing some 70's records, and more....

Yes! DSR George, I'm so sorry about your TV; all of my appliances are getting to that same indeterminate mortality as I am, and I've got to keep working - or sell that goddam property in Ohio -for any emergency purchases!

And Greetings from Toyland!  After today, Toyland is no longer connected to the real world and it becomes another Glocca Morra or Brigadoon.

I don't know why someone would want the body in their hair to be hidden. What good does that do? Wouldn't you want body that shows?
A year ago, I was fed up with having way too much body and a good deal of frizz so I broke down and got a very expensive Brazilian blowout. But then my hair was too straight and limp, so I did a home perm on just the ends that lasted about a day. I figured the rods I used must have been too big, so I permed it again with smaller rods, but it still didn't last. It wasn't Toni brand, it was One-And-Only brand. I used their "low-ammonia" version to try to minimize the damage done by all those nasty chemicals, so maybe that was my problem. Maybe the ammonia is needed to make the perm last.
