In that Wilshire Blvd. clip, note the two gas stations on the two north corners - you can now drive ten miles down Wilshire with never seeing a single station.

Here's a fun short trip down Hollywood Blvd. - sadly they did these in the middle of the night, clearly, when the movie marquees had already been shut off - if anyone can identify what's playing at the Vogue and the Pacific's then we can place the year.

But ChasSmith will see Magoo's and other stuff he'll recognize.

DR Cillaliz, if you're having a general anesthetic, don't plan on being able to concentrate well for a while.

This clip picks up where the other left off.  Here you can see A Countess from Hong Kong is at the Pantages - and Hotel is at the World, which means this would be 1967.

I'm not.  I've had a general twice in my life and came out of it pretty quickly both times.  Hoping it's the same.  I don't plan on reading until Thursday

In this wonderful black-and-white clip you'll see my beloved Pickwick Books on the left and then Diamond Jim's.  Playing at the Hollywood is Seven Women so this is in 1966 - and directly next to the Hollywood you'll see my beloved Coffee Dan's, home of the lettuce wedge and the Dodger burger.

I think they must be using laser lights or something to get the cats to run the bases, but I don't see the red dots, they must have edited them out.

I was just going to write that "Deadlier than the Male" was at the Warner (1967).

Okay, this took me a while - only identified as a North Hollywood business district driving shot - it looks like it's the late 1940s or early 1950s - maybe a better car person can illuminate that.  But it literally could have been any street anywhere.  However, as the car turns right and passes a school I pretty much was mind-boggled into thinking I knew exactly where it was.  And as the car turns left after the school I was mind-bogglingly sure about it.  Because, mind-bogglingly if you look down that block you will see the rear of the El Portal Theater on the right and on the left a tiny bit further down you will see - The Federal, which was a bank.  So the street we begin on is Magnolia - as they pass the signal, that's Lankershim - on the right you'll see a Biff's Coffee Shop - they used to shoot Adam 12 there a lot.  The street they're turning right on is Bakman, and then they turn left on Weddington, which is where the El Portal is and the Federal.

I must say it was kind of nice to have something to get all worked up about today.  I had to do something with my nervous energy.

Vibes it all works out.  You should not have to pay two co-pays for one charge.

But it runs for 3 hours.       :)

LOL, I'm going to record it and when Paul comes over tomorrow, I'll put it on like that's what I want to watch all night.  Of course I won't leave it on long, but can't wait to see the look on his face.
