Many thanks, ChasSmith.

Strange to see our building on TV in these circumstances.

Good morning, all! Another bad night: I was waide awake at 3:45 and awake forever. So, I slept late, will not get to Columbia, and so I will work on the 2nd number I have for this October recording.

Yesterday, as I was reading What Makes Sammy Run?, which parallels the life of a certain person I know well in the industry, I realized that I am Julian Blumberg.

The epiphany was awesome.

I have to make the bed, gather my scattered wits, have some breakfast, and get to work.

More coffee!

Has anybody here watched the 3rd season of HOUSE OF CARDS?

My wife and I were disappointed.

The first two seasons were great, like a modern-day version of MACBETH, but this last one (except for the final episode) seemed to be just marking time; sort of a darker version of THE WEST WING.

What did you think?

I have reserved it from my library. I should get it in the next couple of weeks. I really liked the first two seasons.

Glad to hear that DR FJL et. al. were okay after the conflagration.

I almost expected at least one headline to read:

It sounds like rehearsals for both of MR BK's shows are coming along nicely.  Continued vibes for both enterprises.

I have seen the production photos from The Game's Afoot.....I am fat and my ill-fitting costumes just emphasize the point.

I messaged the director and asked if she can please find me another smoking jacket/robe.  I can wear the Holmes coat draped over my shoulders....but it is a tragedy.

Perhaps the comedy of the play will save me.....but I am not sure.

DR JRand65, nearly every time I see a photo of myself, my reaction is, what is that whale doing in my clothes?

I woke at three-something in the morning having a small sneezing fit -- fortunately not a long one, and I did at least get back to sleep after a while.  But the sniffliness and sneeziness have continued so I guess I'm finally declaring it an allergy day.  Just snorted the last of my prescription Flonase and took a Benadryl.
