What an incredibly irritating last two hours. I had to go do a radio interview for Welcome to My World - that was fine and fun. I was trying to send an e-mail from the phone and it kept saying it wouldn't send and couldn't access cellular data. Then I tried to call someone and it was then clear that AT&T shut the phone off. They took a payment (I'm on auto pay) on August 26, which was right around the time I got my replacement cc for the compromised one that I'd shut down and that was used for that auto pay. But it looked like it had gone through but just in case I put the new card in their system right then. But they didn't use it and never contacted me and then just shut the phone off. To say I was angry would be a gross understatement. It then took thirty minutes to finally get someone to explain to me what actually had happened, and then I paid - but they said it could take up to an hour to come back on. Meanwhile, I was trying to pick up the programs for tonight and I'd been sent a map that took me everywhere BUT the place and I couldn't find it, and of course couldn't call or text anyone or use the GPS. So, I came home and someone had to make arrangements to have the programs delivered directly to the theater.
