Back from a dance. This group is very weird. They arrive an hour early, then sit and eat for 90 minutes without dancing. But when they start, they don't stop until the last dance. But getting them out of their seats to start takes all but an act of Congress.

Once there though we ran in to intermittent torrential thunder storms, road works, traffic jams and the like but nonetheless, by 4:30 we had collected vixboyfriend from his college apartment and were sitting at Olive Garden having dinner while the storm raged outside

By time we were done the sun was out, the skies were blue and we headed over to Downtown Disney.

Once upon a time this was the Disney market place and pleasure island but they have been doing a huge construction project and the place is completely different. It is full of pricey restaurants and expensive shoppes

They have a large area dedicated to Vera Bradley handbags, knapsacks, wallets and the like all with Disney touches

The nice thing is that the parking and the entry are free and there were various performing groups scattered about. It was a lovely clear evening, warm but not oppressively so and we enjoyed our stroll and window shopping

Well, the art gallery showing at The Center went well.

I am now home (duh) and recorded to my DVD burner a VHS tape of "Remember WENN" episodes. I LOVE this show! Why hasn't this been released on DVD??

I never read any of her books, but I always enjoyed seeing her being interviewed. She always seemed to enjoy everything that she did.

It's interesting watching these "Remember WENN" episodes. I'd forgotten that Bob Dorian introduced these episodes and other AMC movies the way Robert Osbourne and Ben Mankiewicz now introduce shows on TCM.
