We got relatives on their way at the airport this morning, and back to work I went.

In the past five days we toured grand mansions (inside and out), ate at amazing restaurants, saw concerts, saw A Prairie Home Companion live, attended church and synagogue, and talked and laughed like nobody's business.

It was wonderful!

Well, it's time for me to leave work and go to the theater.  I don't remember if we're just going to run the show, or do some scene work, or what, but we open on Friday!

Until later.

Oh my Lord in heaven - what is it about Facebook that turns people into complete and utter morons and drooling sheep, who will share anything they see without doing the five seconds it takes to see that what they're sharing is fake.  There are TWO old, ancient Facebook memes making the rounds today and it's just mind-boggling the sharing that's going on - I shame everyone.  It's my duty.  One is the old saw that if you post this malarky about you're letting Facebook know you don't give them permission and ownership of your posts, which is completely bogus and pointless, and the even stupider one that Facebook is going to start charging you five dollars to keep your page private.  Both of these have been around for years - and today, some really intelligent people just followed the herd - there's never been anything like this that I've seen in my lifetime, although I suppose it's happened all through history, with people just becoming mindless followers who will simply jump on the bandwagon.  I have unfriended several people today because they didn't like that I and others were taking them to task.  Yes, not just me.  And they simply would not acknowledge they were wrong and stupid - so bye bye idiots.  I really do think it's time to trim the old "friends" list down to the bare minimum.

We got another review - this one from a Ventura County newspaper - I'd say it's kind of a love letter review: http://vconstage.com/sami-staitmans-world-is-more-than-just-awesome/

I feel so old. I had to look up Hunter Parrish as I had no idea who idea who he is.

But I did know who Robert Goulet was when I first saw A Chorus Line.

I too needed to look him up.   I still have no idea who he is but I am happy that Sami is happy

I made about four ounces of spaghetti with a tiny bit of butter and cheese.  Now I'm craving a sweet and I think I'll satisfy that craving right about now.
