If anyone has the exact address of Jrand's site I can see what's what.  It's not therealallisonhayes.com as far as I can tell.

Ok, I know it's totally unrelated, but I came in the house and told her I won't be leaving for Thanksgiving and she has literally been purring ever since

Jrand, first of all, find a phone number and call Freewebs and get someone to explain to you the problem.  Once they do, then you'll at least know that.  At that point, you can tell them you want complete access, even if it's privately, to remove your content.  If they deny that, threaten them with legal action.  If someone has made a complaint about copyright infringement, they cannot make that determination - they can take the site off-line, but cannot deny you your material.

In the meantime, before you do ANYTHING, go to Google and search "cached web pages" - there are a bunch of places that have them - Google, Archived Web Pages and three or four others - that's how we were able to recover all but one of the notes that were missing.  If you find your archived pages you can cut and paste the content.

VIBES THIS WORKS!!!!

I found one cached page - really long with a lot of writing - I copied and pasted into Word and just sent him that.  Not sure if that's everything on one page, or if there are others to access.

Looking at the sections of his site listed, I do think I recovered ALL the writing because it all seems to be on the home page - the only other pages are photos and not writing.  So, at least he has all the writing - I hope I have the right e-mail address, but I have it saved now in Word, so he doesn't have to write anything over.

And he can even recreate the look of the site elsewhere if he likes because I can send him the link to the cached page, which has a snapshot of it.

Thanks for the link.  I will able to use these pages to recreate the site as a blog on another service!!!

I'll just have to add the photos that I have in a folder on my computer.

We had a delicious dinner last night.  My sister-in-law is a great cook. It was nice to see my siblings, niece and nephew and families.

I did a half-jog - just realized I wasn't in the mood and so I searched for the five missing Rob Stevens reviews and found two - hopefully my guy, who seems to be able to go much deeper than I, will find the other three.

And now, act one of the dog show is about to end.  Intermission is coming up.  It is a short first act, then a 25 minute intermission.

I shall shortly be on my way to set up for the birthday bash.  I've been to this place twice before but his directions always confuse me.

And I'm back!  The second act has started, we set up the concessions for the second show, and now I don't need to be back until 4:30.

I'm not really that hungry, but I won't be able to get something to eat again until the second show's intermission is over and we've cleaned up everything.

That probably won't be until 7:00 pm, so I'm going to get something to eat now.
