We have been incredibly lazy today.  I thought about doing the Thanksgiving grocery shopping this afternoon, but decided to wait until tomorrow morning when I hope some people are at work.

Good evening. Today I saw a local theater production of The Toxic Avenger, a silly take-off of a B movie. I thought of BK and The Brain From Planet X.

Vibes to Michael. I'm glad at least that you have a diagnosis. I hope the treatment will help and get you feeling better.

I have to leave in a few minute for the Sea-Tac airport to pick up my friend.  Then I have to drive her down to Lacey.  So, I don't know what time I will get back home.

I am home from a lovely performance and dinner with DR vixmom.  My dear friend Danny Burstein made the leap today from fantastic comedian and character actor to star. This revival of Fiddler on the Roof is lovely, and I have a lot of quibbles, but the cast is quite wonderful and Danny is really amazing

DR Cillaliz, I just read the article and now I want to read the book!

You can order it on Amazon.  The E book is a draft and it isn't the final version. I can let you know when they update that, but she put it on Amazon last summer.   The paperback is the final version.  Amazon says it's unavailable, or at least it did.  But when there are orders, then Amazon will order from the publisher.  It's how they set it up.

DR Jrand65 - thought you might find this interesting, given your recent experience directing this play:

All kinds.  I didn't see very much of it, but what's really cool is that they're all rescue dogs.

Other concessionaires who watched more of the show said that many of the "stunts" were very similar to each other.  But the audiences seemed to really enjoy it all.

Isn't cooking Thanksgiving a challenge for you, DR vixmom, given the long lists of foods that the rest of the vixfamily will not eat?

well fortunately traditional Thanksgiving dinner (for this non Italian family) does not include pasta, rice, Parmesan cheese, garlic, and there are enough different vegetables and types of potatoes that everyone will eat something[/i/] --- and everyone will eat turkey

Well, the first act of the second show is almost over.  I will probably just go home after we clean up and put away everything after intermission is over.  Actually, I'll go to Fred Meyer first to get some stuff to help control the cold that seems to be coming on. :P

Be back even laterer!
