I've started to answer the TOD twice, only to experience brain freeze, and I almost passed out running my eye up and down his IMDb page.

Well, they can't say my brain freeze didn't get us to page two.

Congrats to MR BK & Crew on their show.  It sounds like a lot of fun was had by all.  And I will file away the "year Jews took the world by storm" joke for use sooner or later.

Very interesting link DR SINGDAW, which begs the question, why did they choose the play in the first place?  If you have CHANGE so much, pick another play.  Of course they may have just been familiar with the film which doesn't have quite so many of those "problems" in it.

Loved the photos of DR VIXMOM and DR ELMORE.

The FIDDLER logo is nice.  There has been some talk on the innerweb about a "new" opening for the show.....what did they do?

It stinks and should be cut. I've modified this post because the show is in previews and the "improvements" may go before it opens.

DR TCB I rarely buy a donut or go into downtown Portland.  The bagels, to our delight, are close to home.  They don't make my favorite, egg, howver their cinnamon raison are the best I have ever had.  They make three delicious varieties of cheese and Keith also enjoys the onion ones.

Oh, I know that.  I just like to give them a plug whenever the time arises.

I had a long drawn out dream this morning. I was working on this film staring Ian McKellan and Judi Dench. it took place at a university.  Interestingly, Sir Ian was playing a straight English professor and Dame Judi was playing a lesbian university president, and they were fighting over the love of a young female student, who was in love with the handsome and virile P.E. instructor.  They had reached the pivotal scene in the film, and they were stuck with how to play the final scene.  Fortunately, I, the lowly stage hand stepped forward and saved the film.

I'm up, I'm up - I woke up at three-thirty after ninety minutes of sleep, didn't fall back asleep until five-thirty, was up before end and slept again until now - I don't know somewhere between five and six hours of sleep, I guess.

I'd read about the "new" opening (which I think bookends with the closing) and it's loathsome and I hope they get rid of it, too.  Fiddler doesn't need directorial "help."

TCB, is it truly unusual to put slaw and pickles out on the table in a restaurant in Washington?   It is a usuAl thing in diners and delis .... What about the rest of the country?   Tell e DRs all, is this truly only a NY tradition ?

I've never experienced this in any restaurant that I've ever been to.  Maybe that's just a reflection on the "quality" (or lack thereof) of the restaurants that I've been to. ::)

According to his IMDb listing, Ennio Morricone has over 500 composer credits!  But that includes direct-to-video programs and TV works.

I'm here for a second consecutive day! This may be unprecedented.

TV shows I am currently watching:

Homeland
The Affair
Downton Abbey
The Big Bang Theory
Law & Order: SVU
Fresh Off the Boat
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend
Fargo
Modern Family
South Park

Also, earlier this year, I binged on "Justified," which has ended its run.

Anybody watch these shows? What's the best show you're watching?

The "Welcome to My World" vocal selections has arrived!  My only comment would be that the pages aren't numbered.  I don't know how difficult that would've been to do, but it's easy to flip through the book and find the song you want.

Thanks, BK!

Due to the way PDFs work and they way this was all laid out, and because we also sell single sheets, there was no real way to do consecutive page numbers, too.  There is one typo for those who'd like to fix it - it's in I Want at the end of the song - they lyric should read "I want to have three kids, one girl, two boys"  the typo version reads I want to have three kids one girl, one boy - someone doing the take-down isn't very good at math or they would have caught it.
