My questions for ASK BK DAY:

Is anyone building a house on the Annette property yet?

Are they ever.  I'm sure it will be a two million dollar doozy.

DR Elmore, I'm sorry to read that Rob Berman will not be conducting 1776.  I'd especially looked forward to his guiding hand on that one.

And that Mr. Tunick is the chosen one for Cabin in the Sky, though I remember you saying that was fairly inevitable.

I did not know that Rob was not doing 1776!  I haven't spoken to him ssince "Bright Star" moved to the Kennedy Center before Thanksgiving.

I just read it in yesterday's CastRecL summary.

I just looked it up. I delete more posts from Castrecl than I read.  My friend Ben Whitely's going to conduct.  Good for him.

Wednesday morning afternoon greetings!  I slept until almost 9am, which is very late for me, then spent the morning reading Sunday's New York Times.  Must get myself together and get out to do some shopping of both the Christmas and grocery varieties.

Ten o'clock meeting pushed to ten-thirty.  Funny that - that's when I'd wanted it so I didn't have to get up quite so early, but was pushed into the ten slot.

The Sunday magazine had a feature on a local chef named Quealy Watson doing a cookout. Fun piece. Great photos.

Yes, I saw that, DR John G.  I really enjoy the Sunday magazine.

As he is a friend of yours, I trust the show will be in good hands.

Good morning.  I had my usual pre-first Christmas choir rehearsal dream last.  This time I was trying out old carols with a big room full of theatre actors.  No more eating after 9:00pm

Got a text from Dave. He's home and numb after the surgery. But all seems to have gone well, so thank you all for those HHW vibes.

He says he has to wear a turban-like bandage for a couple of days, so I probably won't see him until Saturday.

They are in the process of finishing a second Silver Cloud Inn on the waterfront.  This one is at the opposite end of Ruston Way.

Is that at your end of the waterfront, where Keith & I walked prior to meeting you and George for lunch?

That is very true.  Home of the Almond Roca.

Obviously, by my response, I figured that out. ;)

Good morning, all!  I slept better last night than the night before, thank God. No major leg pains, no spectres, all seemed quiet.

Good!!!  May you sleep even better tonight.

My clothes from yesterday's walk are still wet.  Even though it isn't raining, so far today, I used the treadmill at the clubhouse.  I can adjust the treadmill so I'm walking uphill the entire way.  I would have also used the recumbent bike but it was being used.

My need to give up theatre is growing more an more strong as each day processes.  I'm not cut out for the dog eat dog, clique forming, back stabbing, "let's play theatre" attitude of the theatre world in the bay area.  So, my decision will be to quietly to less and less.

I am a big Edward G fan so I am glad to know the truth regarding him and not how "Trumbo" will portray him.

Good for you. I'm doing the same with the food scene here. It's certainly more sane than all that drama.
