She suffers from headaches almost all the time.

In addition, she still has double vision, which apparently is a common side effect of her type of surgery.

Back from a lovelier than lovely partay at Cissy Wechter's. As always, I had fun catching up with David and seeing his ever-lovin' Barbara and the kids, plus I know practically everyone there from all the years David and I have been friends. The food was incredible - I never think I'm eating too much (a slice of ham, a slice of turkey, no stuffing, one little bit of sweet potato, and kugel - which is made just for me) but then after the second helping I'm ready to burst. Oh, and some small desserts. And Cissy gave me a huge amount of kugel to take home so I'll have some tomorrow and probably Sunday, too.

I'm home from my sister's house. We just has some sandwiches, chips and dip, macaroni and cheese from Costco, and some leftovers from last night. Very simple, easily prepared, and good.

Yesterday afternoon, I started to feel a tingling numbness on the left side of my face, neck, shoulder and left arm. Of course, Sandy and I are thinking "possible stroke," since both my father and maternal grandmother died from strokes. Thus, about 2 o'clock, she rushed me to the emergency room, where I was subjected to a bunch of tests and admitted to the hospital.

I didn't get a wink of sleep last night because somebody at the hospital screwed up and did not put my medications onto the computer, so I was not given my sleeping pill.

Today, I had an MRI and a couple of other tests and, thankfully, they all came back negative. I was released me around 4 o'clock.

The likely culprit is the stenosis and arthritis in my neck, which my regular doctor is going to give me an injection to "cure" in about a week.

Fingers crossed that it will solve the problem.
