But today we get mail! On Thursday I received a card in the mail that enrolled me in a program that helps with medical insurance and prescriptions.

In another envelope, I got a letter that denied my application.

I guess I will have to travel over to the office and see what is going on.

Saturday afternoon greetings! We've had Christmas Morning II, this time with Rob and Mary Linda - ham & eggs breakfast followed by present opening, followed by Rob taking everyone's blood pressure with the nice stethoscope he received from his in-laws. Do we know how to party or what?

Yesterday brought a three-hour drive through dense fog to San Angelo. I got to listen to a chunk of Oscar Hijuelos' novel Twain and Stanley Enter Paradise. Highly recommended.
