I guess I've done eleven pages, but more if you count the additions I made to earlier sections. Muse Margaret absolutely loved what she read. She said she was howling with laughter the whole time, but loved the characters and the form of the book - so that was great to hear. When I was giving her the pages, I told her there was only one thing that was bugging me and that was the set up in the first chapter. I knew the chapter itself and the set-up was fine, but I'd weirdly written it in the third person because I wanted to phrase a couple of things a certain way and that worked best. But I told her it didn't feel right to me and that it was a really easy fix to make it first person. And I did it when I got home - it took thirty seconds. When she called, that was her only comment - that I was right about that. She had one other teeny-tiny thing that took two seconds to adjust.
I think if I wasn't stopping so much to do the bit of research I occasionally have to do, I would have written more today. So, I'll shower now and then after the notes, maybe I'll write a couple more pages, since I'm in the middle of something interesting.
