Now it's falling pretty heavily.  And our original forecast was for it to start here at 8:00 anyway, so I think it actually got here at the appointed time.

My first memory of a producer's name is Irwin Allen, who took all the publicity credit at the time for "The Animal World," a 1956 (?) film I loved because of the wonderful dinosaur sequence by Willis O'Brien and Ray Harryhausen (I think).

After that Castle for "The Tingler," "Macabre," and "House on Haunted Hill."

HA!  No new snow for us!

TOD:

William Castle, Roger Corman, Cecil B. DeMille

and Alfred Hitchcock, although we also knew he was a director.....and he was so well known from his television show.

Saturday morning greetings!  We've had a nice pecan waffle breakfast and now I'm puttering until it's time to go visit Mom.  From there Richard and I are going on a movie date to see the not-so-new Star Wars movie and to SmashBurger for dinner.

DR George I think we are lucky to have our tickets to Second Samuel before the show sells out.

My adopted son Joshie sent me a message; he went into City Center to pick up the work and take it back to Astoria. He says it's treacherous out and he slipped on the subway stairs and fell down them. I told him to call me when he gets home or he'll get a lot of anxious messages from me.

I guess I really am a parent.

And I was thinking there would be less chance of your slipping today, if you went out, than tomorrow.

You do know there's a travel ban in NYC including all public transportation starting at 12:30 PM

TV is saying it's going to be twice as bad in NYC as predicted yesterday. 24-30 inches of snow. Lots of people walking around though

Last night Ricky was bound and determined to get back out into the garage.  Man oh man.  I close the mud room door because it isn't heated very well in there - SO, he scratched an scratched and scratched at the door.  I finally opened it and he ran to the garage door....no.   So I took him back inside, he was fine for about 20 min and then started scratching.  As I tried to go to bed....same thing.  I really don't want him to destroy that door, so I  trimmed his claws and took him upstairs, got him settled into bed and.....about 20 minutes later...scratch scratch scratch. Good grief. I was getting mad at this point, so  I took him and shut him in the room where he and Callie sleep at night.  He was fine for 20 minutes or so.  This continued until 3:45 AM!!!!!  I finally fell asleep and I could hear him scratching, but I let it go.
