Elmore when is 1776?

Is that a trick question, like "Who is buried in Grant's tomb?"

Been listening to George Gaynes musicals this morning. He died at age 98. Always enjoyed him on Molly Dodd and in Tootsie.

I didn't realize he had such a varied career!  I remember him from Tootsie the best.

He was also the cousin of a good friend of mine in Catskill. Her name was Jettie and she spoke fondly of him.

I didn't realize that he'd been living here in Washington with his daughter, up in North Bend.  That's where I saw our very own PennyO put on her show, "Jewish Thighs on Broadway." :D

I think I really became aware of him from "Tootsie."  I love that movie.

A Question for BK:  did you say that you were thinking about or were going to release the show on DVD?  Or is that wishful thinking on my part?

It's really not of sufficient quality to release -

Back from a trek to Sierra Madre, a good meal of fish and chips, then we did our reading, which went as well as those things usually go.  Then a few of us went out after and I had a little bowl of chili.  Home now and must write some notes, I guess.

Ahh...then we'll have to suffice with whatever video clips you upload to YouTube. :)
