Is anybody going to tape the Passion musical on FOX Sunday?

Change of plans.  They really need me at THE MUSIC MAN rehearsal tomorrow...enough that I'm going to accommodate them.  So, instead of cooking our St. Pat's corned beef feast through the day, I'm cooking the beef today.  Now.  The house smells of it as we speak.  (Yum.)  I'll refrigerate it overnight, and do the trimming and slicing tomorrow morning.  I'll then cut up the potatoes, carrots, and the Oxford Comma cabbage, so those will be ready to cook.  Then I'll go off and do the rehearsal and get back around 6 p.m., whereupon the veggies can cook and the corned beef be re-warmed.

Been listening and following BEAUTY AND THE BEEF BEAST all along, and I do believe I'd forgotten more about it than I knew.  (hmmm...)

Anyway, FINALE will have to wait, I'm afraid.  Boo hoo.  I'm committing to a good long session with it on Friday.

And that's the end of my little story.

I want the recipe for Oxford comma cabbage.

I wasn't planning on it...unless someone wanted a DVD copy.

Just got a note from the conductor of the upcoming high school MUSIC MAN.  The kids are finding the orchestra parts really challenging.

It's really very simple. They just have to use the THINK system.

Back from an omelet and a bagel.  This is the first day where I feel like I've actually lost some weight - finally.

I picked up the new paperback and it looks terrific, so I placed the book order and it will go to the printer today but the hardcover will be here in the morning and once I get it and say AOK, which I'm sure I will, then they print.  If all goes according to Hoyle I'll have them next Friday.

My good news is I can still walk, meaning go for as long a walk as I want to.  The bad news is, unless I have surgery I probably have a chronic problem now.  I would need an MRI to confirm, however it appears I have a torn meniscus.

For now I need to ice my knee, for the swelling, and avoid walking downhill.  Walking uphill on the treadmill and using the recumbent bike, both of which I can use in our workout room at the clubhouse, should be good for me.

The doctor was nice.  I told him that Keith was booked twice for surgery to repair his torn meniscus and both times cancelled.  The doctor said he also cancelled his own surgery twice. ;D

The doctor doesn't have a problem with having the surgery, it is the recovery time he doesn't have.  He needs to work and has three young children.

I forgot, he suggested I swim but the pool won't open for a few months and I really do not want to go to an indoor pool.

Been working on the LA show all day again.  I've already flipped a bunch of act two things around because it didn't seem quite right - that will probably be happening until we go into tech.

Yuck. That's akin to what my dance instructor had.

Temperatures are still in the 80s. The peach tree has the tiniest buds. The fig is already showing signs of fruit. Summer is here.

Did your instructor have surgery to repair it?

Prior to Keith scheduling surgery he could barely walk.  With weight loss and exercise he finds it tolerable and flare-ups don't last long.
