People come.

People go.

There must be a reason.

Oh, boy!  It's nearly lunch time.

I have a green salad and a container of tuna salad.

Yum.

I guess folks are either working, eating, or napping.

So sad to be all alone...in...this...forum!

I had leftover Chinese. Quite good.

Trouble is, you'll be hungry a half-hour later eating Chinese leftovers.

Back from a sandwich and some chili cheese fries - too much food and I only ate a portion of the fries and half the sandwich - brought the other half home.

The mailman has arrived!

Got my copy of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" from Amazon.com.

Oh, boy!  Will put this on as soon as I get my dinner ready.

Home from a good meeting.  Getting there from here is dreadful but the trip back is easy: walk to Sixth Avenue and take the No 7 bus.

The problem lately is that I'm always hungry.

Confirmation received.  BJ Clark has had to drop out of the LA show (on very short notice, I may add), but I was then given leave to bring in someone of my own choice who wasn't an alum, given we're only days from beginning rehearsals.  So, I'm pretty thrilled to say it's going to be our very own Robert Yacko.  It's exactly the person I needed all along frankly.

My brother walked down the street so he could take my Mom to her first radiation treatment.  A few minutes after he got here, he got a call that his mother in law (who lives with them) was not doing well.

He ran back down the street.  I told my Mom that I would take her.  While she went in the call him, he was walking back down the street to tell us that his mother in law had passed away.....I told him I would take Mom and just go on back home.....

So it has been quite a morning already here on FairLane Drive.

Jrand, my condolences to your brother and his wife and their family.

TOD:

for most stomach upsets I use the homeopathic Carbo Veg. (available at Whole Foods Market for under $8.) Buy the 30C potency. Although I agree with ginger ale and soda crackers, this has the advantage of being very portable. It's the size of a tube of Chapstick, doesn't require refrigeration, etc. Very effective.

If the problem is nausea, Arsenicum Album. (Again a 30C potency, again available at Whole Foods for under $8.) Works with nausea 80% of the time or more.
