So, a town up the road from where I used to live in upstate New York is hosting Twyla Tharp for a tryout of new works complete with a party afterward.

I was going to say, why didn't that happen when I lived up there? But it did. I got to meet people like Brooke Adams and her sister, Lynn, Jamie Donnelly from the movie Grease and some Broadway shows (my favorite Magenta in Rocky Horror), Lionel Hampton, Horton Foote, Curt Dempster, S. Epatha Merkerson, Clarise Taylor, Bill T. Jones, and so many other wonderful artists, directors and performers. That was a fun time.
