Well, you've read the notes, the notes splurged, and now it is time for you to post until the splurged cows come home.

The bad news continues:  I got my lease renewal, so that increases in August, I've run out of money until Thursday when I hopefully get get a check from City Center, and I'm already panicking about getting through June and the summer once Encores! closes up next week.

This current job Joshie gave me is enormous and tedious, and I have to get back to it.  I'd like to get another hour's work in before I head downtown.

Last night, even though JO MARCH wasn't there, we did the entire DELIGHTED number.  It really went well....all of the performers are good and like to dance, so it was easy.

Only one combination didn't work, so I changed that.  I uploaded the choreography pages AND a video to the Secret Facebook Group for the show - so they can print it out for themselves and go over it.

I am happy that Carmen Cusack and BRIGHT STAR are up for Tonys! I wish CBS THIS MORNING had announced all the nominations.

I have music stuff to work on today, which is nice, but I've also got a few things to do in preparation for my li'l trip which commences Saturday.  I mustn't dawdle.

Speaking of splurging...

I'd dropped several pounds by low-carbing it over the past month or so.  That went to hell in a handbasket this past weekend because things were crazy and I found myself gorging on fast food and other nonsense.  That's over as of last night.  (Don't ask.) Today I'll be REALLY good, and by tomorrow I'll be keeping myself on a balanced but light diet until I'm back next week.  Then, back to the hardcore dieting which needs to be done at home.

In addition to working on music at the keyboard, I need to listen to In the Heights again before seeing it Thursday evening, and I must REALLY buckle down and ketchup on Do I Hear a Waltz? for which I'll be attending the final performance next Sunday evening.

I wish your travel plans and my schedule didn't collide.  I might have asked to hitch a ride.

That's a fine idea, though.  We must plan that when the schedules allow for it.

It's odd to realize Encores! season is about over.

Additional doubleplus good musical employment vibes for DR Elmore!

And a few for myself while I'm at it.  It's wonderful to be more active with it now that I'm finally used to not having a day job.

Glad to see so many Tony noms for Shuffle Along and Bright Star in addition to Hamilton. A few oversights, I thought (American Psycho really has an impressive score), but I'm also glad five shows were nominated.

As a food writer, I've had a few days of eating in the extreme. The one that comes back to me was eating at eight barbecue joints in one day while doing research for the book. There were leftovers, to be sure, but there was also a lot consumed.

TOD:
Wow, this is a tough one to answer. I know I eat the most food in one day during the holidays when people are bringing a lot of Christmas goodies to work. I think I can easily eat 3,500 calories in a day, which is triple what I should eat. I remember a couple times as a teenage or in my 20s where I went the whole day eating only desserts and then vomited at night. That wasn't a lot of fun, so I tried to always make sure I ate something nutritious during the day after that.
