Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

I managed to get in a nap, and then it was off to the theater.

SMOKEY JOE'S was very nicely performed and well directed, but the music of Lieber and Stoller is just not my cup of tea.

And of course this type of review (and a lot of alcohol) encourages the audience to whoop and holler and whistle and scream!

Capital Playhouse did it years ago and it was pretty good.  I liked it a lot, and really enjoy listening to the original cast recording.

Naturally, the show received a standing ovation from a majority of the audience.

Then you would really enjoy this production.  It was very well done.

George, do you know a Bruce Haasl?

Yes...he worked for CP for several years, and we were in SIDE SHOW together.  He's a helluva nice guy.
