In March, they held the Democratic Caucus here in Washington.  Bernie Sanders swept the caucus.
Today was the Washington Primary.  Hillary Clinton won the primary by a wide margin.

Except that the Washington state primary is actually completely irrelevant.  It's only the caucus results that will be used.  According to this Presidential Primary FAQ:

"The Republican Party will use the Presidential Primary results to allocate 100% of their convention delegates. The Democratic Party will not use the Primary Election results to allocate any of their delegates. They will rely solely on the results of their Precinct Caucuses on March 26th."

I understand the difference.  I just thought it was an interesting twist between the two events.

We have been very confused with the election here.   It is very strange.  Why send people a ballet if your vote doesn'the count!

I know!  I don't get it, either.

Now I shall put the motor car in the garage and I shall take a shower.

Old Actor's Lunch is tomorrow.

Where are you dining this time...or do you go to the same place each time?

We are going to the Loose Wheel.  It is a sports bar on Sixth Avenue.  They have some great (huge) burgers, plus pizza, sandwiches, and a taco salad that weighs a ton.

It is pretty good.  One of our members doesn't like it because he finds the service a little too "casual."  It's a bar, not a fine dining establishment.
