Well, you've read the notes, the notes spoke of Kritzerland at Sterling's 68, and now it is time for you to post until the 68 cows come home.

TOD

Way too many songs. One of the great teams. There's enough material for several shows.

Sleeping - what a concept.  Tell you one thing - done with Little Toni's - I had pasta with butter - that's it.  No pizza, no red sauce and still the food does not agree with me.  And I've been feeling so good all week.  It's really irritating and there are other choices.

Thanks George.  We got off the tour early.  Apparently part of the group only booked to go to the Sagrada Familia.  When the bus returned to where it picked us up we got off with the first group.  We really don't care for tours-lol

At 7:50 my phone rang. I have no idea who it was. By the time I got to it, the machine had begun and the caller had hung up.

I had the weirdest dream about these strange plants in my grandmother's Appalachian farm.  They were god-ugly.

I absolutely love Rodgers & Hart, but there are zillions of collections. I really love the comedy songs and, since I consider Mr Hart the poet laureate of the broken heart, I love his unhappy ones:
  BYE AND BYE
  THIS FUNNY WORLD
HE WAS TOO GOOD TO ME
EVERYBODY LOVES YOU WHEN YOU SLEEP
  SOMEONE SHOULD TELL THEM

Their weirdest comedy song, for me, is "I'll Tell The Man In The Street," which is so beautiful and romantic, followed by the man's verse:
I'll tell the Man in the Street
You're crazy with the heat
To think that I am yours, dear.
And when you turn out the light
And go to bed at night,
You'll never hear my snores, dear.
You can't play hide and seek
With my divine physique.
There is no price ytou can pay
To make me go astray;
You'll never get your way with me.

Dead tired, but am gradually absorbing the coffee and waking up nicely.  Yesterday afternoon and last night were exhausting and I needed the best sleep I could possibly get.  I pretty much got it, so I'm taking it easy for a little while, and then I have a full day of musical work to get done.

To be followed by another tomorrow.  But this is my last free day before three dress rehearsals and three performances.
