Cilla, I am certainly glad you came on tonight.  I don't think I would have had the energy, or the posts, to get us through three pages.

ACT ONE opening night went pretty damned well.

I managed at one point to splat a chord that, I swear, I couldn't recreate if I had to,  it probably doesn't exist in nature -- but all in all, everything came together really well.

And the locally produced opening night artisanal cheeses - and exceptionally well-chosen wines - were wonderful.

Not to mention, the homemade sausage-bread (for lack of knowing exactly what to call it) a cast member made that was INCREDIBLE, beforehand.  My God, people know how to eat up here in the Connecticut woods and farmlands.

And we're done!  We had a couple of people give a standing O (just a couple), so that was nice.

We're having a heat waver.....a horrible heat wave

Ours broke just as we returned home.  Today it was only about 60 degrees with rain.

And, of course, for my number one son, Nicky.

I am glad he is feeling better.

We did not watch anything on Acorn TV tonight.  We watched the first episode of PREACHER.   Has anyone been watching this new show?

We then watched Person of Interest.  I slept through some of it and am now wide awake.
