This morning is a barber event, and when the few hairs remaining are cropped, I shall head to the pharmacy at Lincoln Center to pick up my meds for July.

If I have time, I will also pull up the scrapbooks on Camelot.

Most of my holiday weekend will be tied up with Guys & Dolls.  We get paid our next installment when we complete Act Two.

You have been into some especially wonderful stuff these past few days, DR Elmore.

Camelot is magic, and I say that without having closely followed all the various changes made to it over the years.

It actually inspired one of the most magical musical dreams I've had.

Continued travel vibes for the Vixfam!  We had a lovely time in Savannah about 5 years ago and I was sorry to zoom past day before yesterday.

Two of our original Appalachian cast have now committed, so two crucial roles are now covered to my satisfaction. Four men, one old maid (soprano) and two children to go!

My one experience driving a truck was renting one of those nineteen dollar jobs from U-Haul to bring some stuff from a storage facility to my house, a distance of three or four miles.

Oy!

I couldn't wait to get it returned to them.

And likewise for those Vixes!

Vixmom, are you leaving that truck in The Sunshine State and flying back home, or what?

I'm forgetting whether you said that was a rental or a loaner.

The aforementioned Ned Rorem LPs.

Should have time for some nice movie watching through the weekend, but don't know yet what will be tickling my fancy.

Just found out I'm seeing a friend's DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS tonight.  She a regional director who I haven't seen in over ten years, so it will be great to catch up.  I don't recall her doing musicals before, but a couple of other people I know are involved in this so it should be a fun evening.
