It's a regular size GE bottom-freezer model, replacing a counter-depth side-by-side one. I wanted to change the configuration because, whether absolutely true or not, it makes more sense to me to keep the coldest air where it settles, and not have it fly out the door every time you open it. Also, while the old GE Profile (counter depth) was nice looking with the cabinets, there ain't nothing wrong with a full depth model, especially when it's on the end like this.

You have a lot of room there for it. If ours came out we wouldn't be able to open the door without hitting the counter across from it.

DR ChasSmith, the new fridge we got about a year and a half ago has the freezer on the bottom and we like it. It's nice to have the stuff you go after more often at eye level.
