Jeanne, doing it the way you are on Sept. 10th is early and more than on time in my opinion (as long as enough tax was paid in by April 15th so there will be no interest and penalties, of course).

But some clients routinely seem to like doing the info-gathering as late as possible and as quickly as possible, get it to the tax office on Oct. 5 or even later.  Yes, they spend less time on it that way, but they almost always miss things that we have to get back to them on while preparing, and I don't think it works out well for either the client or the CPA.

Now that I've called my doctor about another hip injection, my left leg has decided to be as quixotic as possible: at 2:30 this morning I couldn't sleep for the pain.  At the moment, I'm walking quite well on it.

Randy and Jo have been talking abot selling their home and getting something smaller.  Here's what they've been looking at.  It's two minutes from their current house.

Well, last night's WORDS went well...for the performers.  It was a long evening, about 2 hours and 45 minutes. :P Unfortunately, it won't get much storter at tonight's (last) performance.

Otherwise, everyone did well (even me), but besides our house manager, we only had three other people in the audience. :-\ They enjoyed it, however.  Hopefully, we'll have more people tonight.  I know my sister and her boyfriend are going, so that's at least two.

After the show, I called my friend Margo and we went to a local restaurant a couple of blocks from the theater.  We ate and chatted for a couple of hours.  When I finally got home, I was too tired for anything, so I went right to bed.  I got a good long sleep (for once), but my sister called and woke me up.  I hate it when that happens.

My dad asked me to record a movie that was on on TCM this morning so that I could make a DVD for him.  The movie?  ATTACK OF THE 50 FOOT WOMAN. :D I'm now watching it as it records to my DVD burner.

Wow, think what a small place that amount of money would get in New York City.

Love it!  It kind of looks like a newer version of our house from the front.

However, that is one HUGE yard!  I'm glad I don't have anything like that.

And now, I must be off.  I have to get ready for tonight's final "WORDS, WORDS, WORDS: Science Fiction" performance.  We can only hope for an audience to show up.  We don't sell on-line tickets for this series, so we have no idea what it'll be like.  Pray for Rosemary's Baby!

Be back later.

I believe it's smaller than the yard they have now, though.

Just finished watching a documentary on Harold Lloyd that I'd recorded off of TCM.

Funny!
