I don't have Sax or the Morricone CDs. Do you have any copies, BK?

DR JohnG, that production of SOUTH PACIFIC set in a psych ward was at NYU, directed (I think) by An Bogart.  R&H did not shut it down.

Perhaps that was wishful thinking on my part. Ann Bogart's stylized production of Once in a Lifetime, choreographed to within an inch of its llife, was irritating and unfunny.

I think Bogart lives in the pantheon of inept directors. Visionary, my ass!

So intent on being different that she doesn't realize how boring she is.

Allergies. My right eyeball is itching and working my last nerve.

My right eye itches far more than my left eye, however, the eyeball just hurts.

Eyeball vibes for DR JANE.

DR ELMORE - we are on the tail end....so communication and electronics and contracts should be easier to control.....

My errand this morning took forever.  Downtown traffic was god-awful.

When we switched back to t-Mobile and I got my iPhone I did not set up a voicemail since most of the time I never know what people are saying when they leave messages.

It seems I was leaving a robotic voicemail box message and I have been ignoring calls ;D

I just left a personal recording asking people to text, call the house, or speak slowly.

Since, unless we are traveling, I rarely carry my phone I miss most calls and texts yet people tend to call my cell instead of the house because that is the first number most contact lists provide.

Listening to an album I produced that I literally have not heard since the day it was mastered.  And I have to say it's something of a brilliant album, and I must say it may well be the most unknown of all I did.

Jo just told me that they lost that beautiful house.  I hope they can find something else as nice.

Back from a very quick bacon, eggs and toast lunch.  Quick because my food had just arrived when I was texted the plumber was on his way.  No notice, no warning, just he's on his way.  So, I ate really quickly and was back fifteen minutes later - he still hasn't arrived.

Plumber is here.  The rotten pipe is so old they don't even make it anymore - crazy.  Plus the guy from yesterday filled the washer with water and now that has to be drained so he can move the machine out.  Crazy.  The whole damn world is crazy.

The plumber is doing a lot of heavy sighing.  With each sigh I imagine the bill will go up.

The brilliant album, which I'll talk about in the notes, is Swing.

Is it with the Buddy Bregman Big Band?

I think the Swing CD can be had from third-party Amazon sellers for a penny.  Varese really dropped the ball on this CD - it was at the height of the Brian Setzer big band craze and Buddy Bregman was huge - and they just sat on it because they were going through their stupid phase wherein they killed many CDs out of absolute incompetence, just prior to my departure, my departure being the stupidest thing of all.  Another two years of patience and we would have OWNED the B'way market and would never have had to pay for another cast album again.  Instead, all of our imitators got that lovely deal, while Varese promptly went down the drain and into the toilet, where they, IMO, remain today.
