Tom, I recorded The Emmys for my niece.

Actually, I had made a DVD for my friend Margo and gave it to her, but I forgot to make a copy for my niece too, so I had to rerecord the whole thing. ::)

LOL!  I have been waiting patiently for George to answer my question, and apparently he has left the building.

How were you able to rerecord it?

After I recorded it from my DVR to my DVD burner the first time, I burned the disc and deleted the file from the DVD burner, but not my DVR, so I just had to repeat the process...very easy, but it has to record to my burner in real time each time.

I slept late, but yesterday I slept too little.  Maybe it will even out.  I had a long Drama Book Shop dream that was very vivid.  I was signing insurance forms, helping a customer return a book and looking online for an updated copy.  No, it was not F. Murray Abraham.

Much as I hope it will, I do not think the Moonshine & Mistletoe recording will happen.  It's been twelve days since I was put on hold by the producer, and no one's moving fast enough to make this a reality.  We finally got an email last night about where do we stand with this, and I have no idea!

I believe that one of the songs from the show was just recorded for the new Broadway Cares holiday album, so that's something.

I plan to finish "Marry the Man Today" and as much of the incidentals as possible.  If this Moonshine recording springs up again, I will need the next two weeks for prep time, and I've got to help Joshie finish his "King & I" work.

I have been thinking about my doctors visit.... I think she was very rude. Not. Only did she tell me I could stand to lose 50 lbs but she told me to go get a tube shoved up my bottom and put my mammories  in a vise.... And what's worse is Vixdad thought these were all good ideas too!

After my mother's quadruple bipass in 1985, her surgeon told her to exercise, walk several miles daily, stop smoking, eat vegetables, lean meat and lay off the fast and the fried food, stay away from sugar; and so she found a new doctor who took her money and let her do anything she wished. Eight years later her health gave out and she died in 1994 at the age of 71.

Well, it looks as though the recording may be moved to November, and I would be all in favor of that.

I am not sure I could take an entire evening about Andy Cohen, who seems to be a parody of person himself.  And there should be some kind of consequences for creating and foisting the REAL HOUSEWIVES OF.... series of television shows on the world....making "celebrities" of some of these terrible women by manufacturing drama and chaos among them.....
