This adaptation of Master Builder is very disturbing. And Wallace Shawn is great.

As much as we like Wallace Shawn I am not sure I want to watch "disturbing".

Yesterday, I kept thinking there was something I needed at the store, but I couldn't figure it out.  This morning I realized what it was.  I was totally out of coffee.

Aargh!
We had to make a special trip to buy Keith coffee.  He uses whole beans from an Italian roaster.  A little Italian restaurant near us sells them.

I started to take myself out to lunch, but the storm looked like it was rolling in, so I made a quick stop at the grocery store and then came right home.

It started raining when I was out running errands at my lunch time.  Of course, it wasn't raining when I got to work or when I left to go to lunch, so I had no jacket or umbrella with me.  I survived.

I'm home after the board meeting and getting something to eat.  I recorded and was going to watch some of the vice presidential debate, but my TV was set to TCM when I turned it on and "Thoroughly Modern Millie" just started.

I don't think that I've ever seen it on a hi-def TV, so I'm watching (and recording) it!

I guess I need to do some serious grocery shopping.

Do you have "Senior Wednesday" there? My DH is always excited to go grocery shopping on Senior Wednesday and save ten percent.

I think Fred Meyer, our Kroegers' market, has Senior Tuesday.

We have crawled to a slow.

Would you like a sloe gin fizz with that slow crawl?
