Is it falL or summer, with 80 degrees expected tomorrow and Wednesday.

This is Indian summer, aka été de la Saint-Martin.

Thanks for that info, Larry!

Weird dreams lately. One I remember had me going back to Catskill and everyone expected me to take over the newspaper and do all the work. My friend Jim, who left that paper before I did, showed up to announce that I was back to do the job, even though I hadn't been told anything about it. And he promptly disappeared. I don't remember actually doing any work, I just heard people complain about how overworked they were.

The avocado mold had a scary neon seafoam green color but surprisingly tasted good.

I had a dream involving my dad's company, my dad, the horrible Mike Pence, with dark hair but still a creep, but I remember no details now.  There were others but they have all faded by now.

Monday morning greetings!  Unseasonably warm here in SW Ohio and we're beginning to see evidence of "Golden October," a term I learned in Germany 5 years ago.

With the articles reporting that the great Patti LuPone and Christine Ebersole are on their way back to Broadway:

Here's a "cell phone in the audience" salute,
"I'll Get You Kicked Out of Here" - a world-weary parody of "I Get a Kick Out of You"
(parody vocal recorded by Sheree Sano)

AARRGGHH!!  My tablet battery died.  I had a new charging cable hooked up, but it doesn't seem to be able to charge it faster than the power drains. :P

I hope you can get the problem fixed.

Heads up!

Criterion's twice-annual 24-hour flash sale has commenced:  www/criterion.com/sale

All in-stock Blu-rays and DVDs at 50% off until noon EDT tomorrow.  Enter promo code DOLLS in shopping cart.

This is a good one for me, as I don't get charged sales tax, and shipping is free at the $50 level or something like that.

In addition, the twice-annual Barnes and Noble sale is said to be starting on November 1st.  That one runs three or four weeks.

But, I need to go to bed, anyway.  But before I do, to answer Tom's question from yesterday, I think it'll open in early December, most likely the 2nd.

Tom, I just got an e-mail from the PHYSICIAN stage manager confirming the performance dates:  Dec 2, 3, 4 (the 4th is a Sunday night show), Dec 8, 9, 10, 11 (the 11th is a matinee), Dec 15, 16, and 17 (close on that Saturday night).

We watched KILLING REAGAN last night.

Was very disappointed.  Thought they left out the most intriguing part of the book.

There was a TV movie many years ago, THE DAY THEY SHOT REAGAN, that was much better.

I recorded this for my dad, but forgot to set it up to record to my DVD burner this morning.

I think I have survived whatever bug attacked me on Saturday, to the dismay of my critics, and I need to go to market.  i think it's time to make another vat of chicken pottage.

Very good news, Larry!  Damn the critics and full speed ahead! ;)
