Well, that's weird.  The picture that I posted at the top of last night's page six changed after I posted it!  I saved it to my tablet and uploaded it to Photobucket.  This is the picture that it should've been:

I've never seen the movie but the soundtrack sounds like it's a lot of fun.

I saw PARIS WHEN IT SIZZLES when I was a teenager.  I was bored to death.  Maybe I would enjoy it more now.

I had some weird dreams about a tour of THE SOUND OF MUSIC, a neighbor boy with whom I went through grades 1-12 and whom I've not seen in 50 years who turned out to be - in the dream - a relative of Queen Elizabeth II!

I'm meeting a friend for lunch.  I haven't seen him in over ten years,  Around 25-30 years ago, he moved to Paris so he's principally based in Europe.

After that, the market.  I need supplies.  I 've avoided the trip all week.

DR George, whatever is in Reply #4 is keeping this page from fully loading, at least on my iPad.
It isn't interfering with anything, just letting you know.

EDIT:  But it's fine in Firefox/Windows on the laptop.

Paris When it Sizzles was a big flop back then, but you watch it today and it's just delightful and fun.  As someone pointed out, it was meta before there was meta.  Someone also pointed out that Kritzerland seems to be the label of Richard Quine - this is like the fourth Richard Quine movie we've done.  Best of all, you can watch the film in its entirety on You Tube.

"Paris When it Sizzle" is a beautiful movie to look at and to see the cameos and I'm sure was a great idea when it started.  Unfortunately as much as  I love Audrey Hepburn and some of the cameos and the look of the movie, it really is an awful movie. You can see how drunk William Holden was throughout the entire movie, and I think everyone enjoyed being in Paris and they pieced together what they could. I liked the music though and have ordered the CD-- but not through PayPal.
