A few years ago, I dressed up in all black and wore the Brain that was built for TAO's production of BK's The Brain From Planet X. It was pretty popular.

The car salesman probably thought I was really weird. Every time he would show me a feature on the car, I would say, "Cool" or "That is so cool."

I hardly ever use that word in conversation.

Sometimes people do, and a few times in the past we've had costume party potlucks, but not this year.

We're actually having an election day potatoe [sic] spud-fest. Back when Dan Quayle made the spelling mistake, a former library employee used to get potatoes from eastern Washington and we had our first spud-fest in 1992. For the presidential election years, we've had one every four years since then.
