Well, you've read the notes, the notes were a double day of notes, and now it is time for you to post until the double cows come home.

Today, I'm going to see Tacoma Little Theatre's production of Dracula.  My friend pug directed.  She's also directing "The Physician In Spite of Himself" that I'm in.

But first, I must sleep, then get up, then take a shower, then get dressed, then leave.

Good night and have a good day, all!

Well, I don't have any reason to get up early tomorrow, except Nicky will insist.

Mac and cheese soup sounds like it could have potential to be tasty if someone actually set out to make it that way.  Having regular mac and cheese turn out all soupy sounds pretty bad.  You'd think they'd have noticed the liquid before serving and drained the excess liquid out, even if only to cover their mistake.

I slept my extra hour - that was very nice.

Rehearsal and performance vibes for MR BK & Co.

Boy, could I use some pancakes this morning.

And some bacon, while you're at it.

I'll be making buckwheat pancakes next weekend.

But that is then and this is now.

More dead relative dreams: my mother and Aunt Jenny came to pick me up at my Aunt Jean's house.

My mother's sister Jean and her husband Harold were childless, and I became their surrogate child,  About once a month I would spend a weekend with them, and we'd go to the theatre - never to a movie - or something else she had planned.  On Saturdays she and I usually went shopping in Hamilton, OH, and I'd always come home with a book or a toy when I was younger, later it was clothing, or something she felt was essential to my being socialized and civilized.

I have lots of writing today.  Since the Guys & Dolls invoice is going in later than I wished, and since the contract per Big Announcement is taking its time, I must finish this choral arrangement and get paid!

DR TCB, I have been thinking about a book on the history of Babes In Toyland, 1902-2016.  I need to get back to the memoirs and revise and hone.  I've been waiting for feedback from friends who've read what I've put down so far.

For a night with an extra hour in it, I sure had a restless one.  It was fine till the wee hours when I got up for a quick trip to the bathroom.  Back in bed, I fell right asleep again, which is great, but then I got into this endless dream having to do with a wall I've hit in my family's genealogical history.  Half asleep, half awake, I lay there thinking of ways to attack it.  None of which turned out to be new or brilliant.  Most unsatisfying.

I'm picking someone up at Westchester County Airport at 11:30 tonight, and that's really going to seem late.

Methinks a li'l power nap sometime this afternoon is in order.

The author of HILLBILLY ELEGY (which has been talked about on this site) is part of a panel on the election right now on Fareed Zakaria's show on CNN.

I'm pretty sure this show is repeated at 1 pm eastern time, if anyone's curious.
