Have gotten to Mahler's eighth - rather than the epic five or six movements of the other symphonies, this one only has two movements - the second one is close to an hour though

Reminds me of a comedy sketch for CD Radio Theater's production of Oedipus Rex:

He killed his father --
That was patricide.
Then he took his mama
for a mattress ride.

I love the similar phrase/rhyme that was used in "To Keep My Love Alive" from A Connecticut Yankee.

Sir Atherton indulged in fratricide,
He killed his dad and that was patricide
One night I stabbed him by my mattress-side
To keep my love alive.
To keep my love alive.
