That second Aleve PM didn't do a thinkg to help me sleep with my leg pains but I'm really groggy and I had a ton of weird dreams. 

I only remember one involving the house on Goldman where I grew up, a rather crazy woman in Manhattan who is very jealous of my Victor Herbert recordings, and my former good friend Ron Raines

I must go to Staples this morning and scan some music for BK, and then I have no plans.  I may listen to some CDs.  There's a current TV commercial that uses a bit of "Swan Lake," so that score is running through my mind.

She is actually my mother-in-law's former roommate! They were roommates before WW2, if I understand correctly.

Yes, we're planning a turkey pie and the green Jello pineapple cottage cheese surprise that Richard likes so much for our quiet Thursday.  Fortunately, one of the arts organizations in town is having a fundraiser at the Spinning Fork on Tuesday.  Spaghetti and meatballs will be a nice respite from turkey leftovers.

My next dinner prep task requires getting up on my step stool to get the dishes from a top cupboard shelf.  Fr. Richard's at church, the upstairs housemates are not stirring, and my niece is visiting Gram, so I'm taking a break.  Won't get up there without a "spotter."

Now here's what I do hate: inefficient store management.  I just returned from Staples.  I had gone there to scan something for BK.  the print dept. is packed, and one young African-American man is working his butt off, and there are no other clerks.  when he finally got to me, I said, you need more help.  He said that the other worker sche3duled wasn't coming in until noon.  This is crap service for a chain like Staples.

So, I got my scan and typed my email address for it to be sent.  I'm strill waiting for it to show up, and I am not happy about the delay.  I called Staples and got a vague answer like give it an hour. Color me pissed.
