I too am staying in today.  We have lots of HEAT and everything is working correctly and we now have a truce on the thermostat....said person can only turn the temperature up or down.....nothing else is to be touched.....

I like your truce.  We have a new Nest thermostat which I am content with only looking at.  Keith can control it away from home using Google his phone.

It's a wet day here in Oakland CA.

We are having a treat at lunch.  A great barbecue joint called "Phatt Matt's" in Berkeley is one of the clients of Caviar.com which places orders for many eateries and delivers them.

I have placed seven lunch orders that include brisket, pulled chicken and pulled pork with a variety of sides including yams, mac and cheese, beans and seasoned greens.

This place is gonna be stinkin' GOOD at lunch time.

Go to Mexico to have your crowns done.  A friend of my mom's lives in Arizona (I think), right on the border.  This friend had done a lot of research in finding a good dentist, and I guess a lot of the dentists in the border towns are trained in the U.S.  My mom said that it cost about a tenth of what her dentist in town would've cost.  He checked the work when she got back and said that they did real good work...but they can charge a lot less.

Funny, I would be a bit embarrassed to ask my dentist to check the work because I went someplace less expensive.  Good for her.  Our dentist here is way more expensive than our dentist was in Medford, who was less than the dentists we didn't like in Ashland.

It is icy out today so we carefully walked to the clubhouse gym.  Keith used the cross trainer while I walked on the treadmill.  Then we carefully walked home.

Back from picking up packages and buying new sheets - replacing the ones I've now had for five years because of an unseemly rip I hadn't noticed.

And a new kitchen steel garbage thing - the plastic one I had was broken.
