They are advertising a new John Lithgow comedy that doesn't start until March.

I just saw that commercial and liked it.  What do you think, Tom?

Funny how things work.  I have been putting off for weeks doing some research that has to be done for the new book.  And even though I had fun writing a couple of paragraphs for it, I haven't had the buzz about actually beginning it next Sunday - that's happened before and the minute I start I get the buzz right away.  But yesterday something came into my head, a title really, a title I came up with about fifteen years ago and that David Wechter and I tried to come up with a film for - we did - pitched - came close - but no cigar.  But the title is really good and it's kind of shocking no one's ever used it, at least to the best of my knowledge.  And last night I started to think about what kind of story I could tell to go with the title.  Tonight I began free associating on a blank Word doc and came up with something I thought could really be fun if I can figure out enough plot machinations and how to kick the story off and what it actually would be.  But there's a germ of a really fun idea there and I'm going to spend the next few days making notes and if that has the buzz come the weekend, I'm just gonna go with it.

That sounds exciting, BK!

I am watching HAIRSPRAY-LIVE again.

I've got my TV on that channel, but I'm also watching other shows that are recorded on my DVR.

Just finished the relatively new And Then There Were None with Aiden Turner's hair. Quite enjoyable.

Why would NBC pick BYE BYE BIRDIE as next December's musical?

Listening to a composer I don't know at all - Samuel Jones - I don't think I ever played this CD and wonder why I got it, unless it was recommended to me.  It's a symphonic piece based on James Agee/Walker Evans' Let Us Now Praise Famous Men - it's tonal and very nice music.  I took a long shower and thought of some more ideas, which I've already jotted down.

You specified the men's room...you have a separate women's room in your house??

I have this in my wishlist at Amazon.co.uk.  It's interesting...Amazon.com lists the US release, and it says that it's 177 minutes.  Then, they list the region-2 UK release, but it's 180 minutes.  And they also have the region-4 Australian release, and that says it's 214 minutes!  I wonder what the differences are.

Maybe AOL can no longer afford to run their e-mail 24 hours a day.
