And I'm pulling out CDs that, over the past month, I've seen five or six times and I find the original pressing on Chandos of the Doreen Carwithen CD I just rebought in its reissued form (different cover) - I'm surprised I had it and didn't pull it out.  Will now sell the one I got recently.

I don't ever recall a year in which the day after Christmas was a bank and mail holiday - EVER.  And yet...

No wonder it is sooooo busy here.

We were clever to go for an early dinner.  We got lucky snagging a table at a nice spot on the river walk.  Breakfast and dinner were enjoyable, both at different Mexican restaurants.

Breakfast was at Rio Rio.  We had scrambled eggs with red and yelow crispy tortilla strips and melted cheese.  I passed on the refried beans and they gave me double the diced potatoes.

Dinner was at Casa Rio.  I was bad and had what I call chicken taquitos but are actually crispy corn flautas with guacamole and a poblano sauce I have never had before.  While not LA Fonda I enjoyed it.  The ducks & Cormorant in the river entertained us while we ate.

After dinner we took a long walk past the lock and 0.5 miles before the Pearl.  We like getting away from the crowds and enjoyed the scenery.  In total we walked 12.5 miles today.

Listening to all kinds o' stuff - some Charles Ives - I run hot and cold on Ives - I like the second symphony and a few other things, but there's lots that's just noise to me.

Now listening to Khachaturian violin rhapsody and then concerto.  Very attractive music.  Then more Dello Joio.

We were not consulted.  Let's write an angry letter to the right people.

I told them it was ok. If the banks and post office were open I would have been at work as well

Every time someone else dies we now get the new Facebook cliche: 2016 stop it already.  Be over already.  Like people won't be dying in 2017, just as people have been dying in every year since time began.

It's kind of like the old password game. You put your phone on your forehead do you cant see your screen but everyone lose Dan. Then they sout out clues while you try to guess the word or phrase on your screen
