Back from a fun supper at Genghis Cohen with friends. There were some frustrations - first of all while it wasn't that crowded when I got there, within fifteen minutes every seat was taken - NEVER like that on a damn Thursday night and it stayed like that the entire two hours we were there. I had my favorite gal as waitress. I ordered the usual stuff. When the orange chicken (extra crispy) arrived it was not even crispy let alone extra crispy - those two orders went back, but even when it came back there was something off about it - it tasted fine but it just didn't look like it usually did and it just wasn't quite as good. It was baffling to me the entire time until the check arrived, then I understood immediately. When I order the Kung Pao chicken I order it with white meat. I DON'T order white meat for the orange chicken, but she assumed I wanted that white, too - and therein lies the differences - I talked to my gal and she understood immediately and it won't happen again. But everything was great and we all had a lot of laughs, too. It's good to laugh, I recommend it for what ails you.
