I watched Travels With My Aunt last night.....hadn't seen it before.

Whoever did Maggie Smith's make up for when she played OLDER was right on the money....she looked pretty much the way she does on DOWNTON ABBEY, and she even used the same voice.

Listening to Ernest Ansermet having his way with the Sibelius second symphony in early 1960s stereo that is so far superior to anything they do today - vivid, up close and personal, with every ounce of detail clear as a bell - and I really like this version - the first movement done at a faster clip than any of the others I have.

When I stopped at Whole Foods Market the other day I bought a mini carrot loaf, 3-4 inches long. Now that was good! Much better than the cornets, IMHO. No! NOT "cornets"! Cronut! Oy!

Things look bad for the gang.....gangsters have forced the owner of the Roller Boogie Rink to sign over his ownership - they want to build a shopping mall on the site.....

BJ and Teresa aren't talking anymore.....and BJ is roller dancing to a very slow sad song all by himself .... what will happen?
