I make as many of my purchases online as I can, as I was NOT born to shop. I used to go to Target, thinking I as getting good prices, but Target--at least here in LA--has changed quite a bit over the last few years. Then I discovered Dollar Tree! So much cheaper! They don't have everything, of course. But for the things I do buy there I save a lot of money.

I also shop at Bed, Bath & Beyond for some things--towels, mostly.

Today, I received the Cesar Franck Symphony in D-minor and Stravinsky's Pétrouchka SACD Hybrid CD from BK's latest sale! I listened to the whole thing. Since I'm on my work computer and using just regular stereo headphones, I can't hear how well the Super Audio sounds, but the pieces themselves are very good. I enjoyed the Stravinsky more than the Franck, but they were both quite enjoyable.

Actually, my friend Kathy served pommes Anna as part of her Christmas Eve feast. They were served with pork roast baked with pears, and the potatoes upstaged the meat.
