I got an update after my surgery yesterday that Kerry is showing some improvement.

So I think I may take a different route to the hospital today: the light rail. A bit better clientele, plus it doesn't make so many stupid stops.

DR Laura I am glad the pain is tolerable but should you be going to the hospital?   Until you heal a bit more is the risk of infection higher?  Wear a surgical mask.

Again it is SIX DEGREES here......a high of TEN DEGREES is predicted....and a low tonight of MINUS SEVEN DEGREES.....I guess winter is here.

It's a popular destination for private pilots, for practice landings and to visit the island.  The bus/taxi ride takes a half-hour or more getting down the winding mountain road to Avalon from there.  That ride can call for more Dramamine than the flight.
